Who cares about Apollo history?

When We Were Apollo is not just a film. We're preserving unheard pieces of Apollo history before they're gone forever. They matter because Apollo's achievement may be the most incredible thing humanity has ever done.

Celebrate all the men and women of Apollo.

Make a 100% tax-deductible contribution to this effort to honor and preserve Apollo history.

May we be frank?

Making an independent film is not for wimps. Every penny we raise and every eyeball that sees our materials must be earned from scratch over thousands of hours. To date, we've raised over $64,000. We need your support to carry this film across the finish line.

Seeking $68,000 in completion funds by Dec. 31st, 2018.

Funds will help cover:

  • Remaining production expenses
  • Film processing and lab fees
  • Editing
  • Archival research and digital scanning
  • Original music composition and licensing
  • Graphics and titling
  • Color correction and grading
  • Sound design and mixing
  • Film mastering
  • Festival submissions
  • Community screenings

Once we reach our goal we can build the crowd-sourced APOLLO STORIES ARCHIVE: Memories and photos submitted by Apollo alums!
